Presidents Message
On January 12th, 2021 I was honored to be sworn is as the president of DC Black MBA. This role is something I have been working towards for a long time and I believe I have the skills and expertise to lead this organization through the next chapter of its life.
My focus over the next 2 years will be geared towards increasing participation throughout the community, boosting membership numbers so more people have access to life improving information and to increase the number of corporate sponsors who’s donations allow us to function optimally.
To our existing members I welcome you to another year with us and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you over the course of the year whether it by at an event, through email or over the phone. I hope I can live up to the standards and expectations of those who came before me.
To the wonderful staff who make working hear a dream all I can say is thank you for the dedication and enthusiasm you bring to work each and every day.
2020 was a difficult year for many people including us but with vaccines being rolled out throughout the country we are hopeful that 2021 will shape up as a more normal year. We learned a lot about ourselves and how we operate last year so with our new knowledge and skills I say bring on 2021!
